Example 1:
A wheelchair user in Adelaide needed to visit Sydney for a specialist treatment. They were collected from the airport in an accessible van and brought to their hotel. It was seamless. The driver met the clients in the terminal and the vehicle is parked close to the terminal. The next day they attended their appointment and in the evening visited friends. The following day they visited the new Sydney Modern ( Art Gallery of New South Wales ). The next day they returned to the airport.
Example 2:
A disability support manager contacted us to book wheelchair accessible van for a client who is part of a community choir. The choir was singing at a number of venues. They booked a van to transport the person – + 2 carers – to the venues. The client had the driver’s mobile number so he could return when the concert was over. All went seamlessly.
Example 3:
Recently a family of 4 from the US was visiting Sydney. They booked a Sydney sightseeing tour and added a couple of places that were of special interest to them. They loved to commentary of the driver, his commentary and the secret Sydney places he knew to take them.
Example 4:
A care facility required a replacement vehicle for their regular wheelchair friendly van as it needed major repairs. They hired a van and driver for the duration and the residents were able to continue to get to their specialist appointments and enjoy their outings. They loved the driver and his helpful attitude.
Booking Your Accessible Transport Service
- You book the vehicle and driver by the hour. As we are not a taxi service you need to give as much notice as possible so your transport can be held for your preferred times. A few days is preferred.
- You do not need to provide full details of where you wish to go, but it’s a good idea to block your time frame as soon as possible.
