Australia In Style is a Sydney based niche company specialising in wheelchair enabled transport and tours for less mobile travellers. We are committed to creating barrier free experiences for both local and international wheelchair users.

Renowned performance spaces and attractions include our accessible vans and minibuses to facilitate access for all to their experiences.

As an N.D.I.S. registered providor plan managers and care homes regularly offer their wheelchair user clients easy access to appointments and for lifestyle programs.

> Can we book a regular accessible charter on a daily or weekly basis?

Yes we can. For example, currently we provide a regular accessible shuttle service to an iconic performance space. The service transports their patrons from a nearby transport hub to their venue for an hour before the shows and again after the shows back to the transport hub. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements

> Can I book and pay for a tour or charter online? What deposit is required to book?

Yes, you can book and pay online. It’s easy. Simply click on the service or tour you wish and follow the prompts. You will find a link to booking form. 50% deposit is required to secure your services.Direct deposit and Paypal accepted. Use Paypal to pay by credit card. Any issues, please email info@ausinstyle.com.au.

> Do you have a price guarantee? What is your cancellation policy? What are your terms and conditions?

Yes , we have a price guarantee.All prices are guaranteed once deposit has been received. For cancellation policy and terms and conditions see here.

> Can tours and charters be customised to suit our needs?

Absolutely , Currently a performance space offers an accessible shuttle from a nearby transport hub to their venue before shows start and then a return after they end .Let us know your special needs and a personalised service can be prepared .

> Can we hire an accessible vehicle and driver and travel where we choose?

Yes, you can hire a vehicle and driver on hourly, daily or weekly hire. We are happy to assist you with an itinerary too.


To view vehicle sizes and capacity go to menu – ‘ Accessible Transport’ and click on ‘wheelchair accessible vehicle options’.

> How do wheelchairs access the vehicles?

Wheelchairs access the vehicles by a rear, level electronic hoist.

> What is the maximum weight of wheelchair accommodated, and what is the chair area in the vehicle?

Maximum weight is 363 kgs. This allows for both folding and motorised wheelchairs. Area for chair is 32 inches ( 82 cms) wide x 54 inches (137 cms) x 65 inches ( 165 cms) long.

> How many wheelchairs can fit in the accessible vehicle?

A number of wheelchairs can fit in the vehicle. All access the vehicle by the level electronic hoist.There is space for one user fully confined to a wheelchair. Other users will need to be able to move to a seat. Their chair(s) can be folded and stored onboard.

> Can I go onto the beach or into the surf in a wheelchair?

Yes you can. A number of Sydney beaches have a special mat which sits on the sand especially for wheelchair users. As the mat is not laid out 7 days, please check with us to confirm it is set up on the day of your visit. Beaches with mats include Bondi and Manly.
Some beaches have a special beach wheelchair which allows you to access the surf. You will need to transfer from your chair. Beach wheelchairs are located at Bondi and Manly. They are free but need to be prebooked.

> For an airport pick-up, can we be met inside the terminal?

Yes, you can be met inside the terminal. Your driver will meet you there -displaying a sign with your name. Another great thing is that we have priority parking close to the exit.

> Do I have access to a toilet stop on your charters and tours?

Yes, you do have access to a toilet stop on your charter or tour. Australia has a register of all public toilets. A special master key is available to use the accessible toilets. Australia In Style has these key to access these washrooms.

> I have some difficulty walking but not in a wheelchair. Do you have a folding chair on tour if needed?

Yes, a folding chair is available to you by request. Simply let us know in advance. There is no charge for the folding chair.

>How many accessible vans, minibuses, or coaches do you have?

You have available 6 accessible vans , 8 accessible minibuses and a 54 seater coach. All have electronic lifts.

> If we have a regular coach company serving our clients , do you work with other coach companies?

 Yes, we are happy to collaborate with fellow industry transport companies.

> Are you experienced in supporting events?

Yes we are. For example, every NYE we transport for a range of organisations  to ensure their guests can watch the fireworks. These include state and council entities. We also support festival organisors. A shuttle service from a transport hub to the venue ensures everyone can access their event   

> Do I share my transport or tour with others?

No, all tours and charters are private and exclusive to you. Whether an organisation or an individual , you travel when and where you choose.

> We are a group of 13 people, one a wheelchair user. Can we all travel together?

Yes you can all travel together. Your choice of vehicle ranges from 5 – 18 persons + wheelchair user.

> Do you have a health and safety policy?

Yes we do. We are certified covid safe at world standards.

    

All attractions and restaurants included in tours are checked to confirm they comply with their industry standards.
