On this Sydney wheelchair tour around Sydney’s harbour you will uncover many stories of Sydney – all accessible to those with mobility disabilities. Hear stories of early indigenous life, experience an inside tour of the renowned Sydney Opera House, visit Bondi Beach and have a peak into the lifestyle of Sydneysiders today. You have a choice to explore a beautiful botanic gardens or visit the zoo. Your driver also doubles as your personal photographer. What’s Included in this accessible tour
- Firstly, all travel is at your own pace – tour is private and exclusive to you
- Secondly, you travel in a wheelchair accessible vehicle with driver guide
- Thirdly, there are no steps. The tour is suitable for all with limited mobility, including wheelchairs. A free folding wheelchair on hand so that all can enjoy the tour.
- You will explore the early days of the colony as you travel through the Rocks. Learn why Observatory Hill and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair are so-called ( 9.30 am-10.15 pm)
- At this point you have 2 options:
- EITHER:
- You join a small guided tour of the Botanical Gardens and learn more stories of the history and beauty of Australian fauna (1030 a.m-1200 pm).
- Excellent Garden shop with many beautiful gifts and items using Australian products and ingredients.
- Enjoy lunch at the Sydney Opera House dining precinct (12.45-1.45 pm) – lunch included
- OR
- Visit the famous Taronga Zoo on the north side of the harbour overlooking the Sydney Opera House. Get close to Australian wildlife as well as animals from around the world
- Lunch at one of the Zoos dining venues . Lunch included ( 11.00 am – 1.15 pm)
- Whether you choose the Gardens or the Zoo it’s time to experience a guided wheelchair accessible tour of the inside of the iconic Sydney Opera House- NO STEPS. ( 2.00 pm-3.00 pm)
- Your driver then takes you Skirt the Harbour foreshore , past the homes of the rich and famous in Darling Point and Double Bay.
- Enjoy the spectacular city skyline from a picturesque historic fishing village.
- Travel the coastal cliff tops to see why Bondi beach is world famous.
- Return via historic Paddington back to your hotel.
- Your driver guide not only shares fascinating stories, but also double as your personal photographer. These can be sent to you after the tour, at no extra cost.

- 1030-1200 Guided tour of Royal Botanic Gardens – entry fee included
- 1230-1300 Lunch at Sydney Opera House dining precinct – level access ( included)
- OR
- 1100-1230 Zoo visit – entry fee included
- 1230-1.15 Lunch at Zoo or Sydney Opera House dining precinct ( included)
- THEN
- 1.45 – 3.00 Sydney Opera House accessible guided tour – entry fee included
- 3.15- 4.30 Travel harbour foreshores to Bondi ( 15 mins stop), return via Paddington
- 4.30- 4.45 Return hotel
