The last few years we have seen amazing resources for people with disabilities to live life to the max. They include:

·         Ideas and experiences to expand our toolkit of ways to navigate our worlds.

·         Regular updates on the changes of practical support for people with disabilities to expand capabilities.

·         Our own series of reviews of accessible websites are rich with ideas so that accessible travel is easy and fun.

However , this is only part of the big picture .

We need to change society’s general attitude.

Yes, Barbie supports a positive attitude of acceptance. Of support for all – regardless of mobility issues.

We wonder how many of these Barbie dolls were in Xmas stockings this year ?

It’s so exciting to see support from so many areas to promote inclusion and diversity.
