Our Story
Since 2009, Australia In Style has proudly supported individuals, families, and organisations across Sydney — from both government and private sectors.
While awareness of accessibility is growing, many people with mobility challenges still face barriers to participation. Drawing on our background in transport and tourism, we collaborate with clients to create seamless, inclusive travel.
Our founder, Vivien, is passionate about breaking down barriers and promoting inclusion and equity across all forms of travel. AS a result the company is a registered NDIS provider.
Fulfilling a Need in Travel
For more than 10 years, we’ve worked with lifestyle co-ordinators of care homes, support co-ordinators. families, and individuals to ensure access is not a reason to miss out on experiences or services.
Recent examples include:
- • Lifestyle co-ordinators of care homes book an accessible minibus bus to take groups on regular outings. It may be fortnightly or monthly. The homes may have a small van inhouse, ( driven by one of the staff), however this may mean some residents miss out . By providing an accessible minibus -with driver- ensures more residents experience the sense of connection to the world outside of the home.
- • When existing inhouse transport is off the road for maintenance or repairs, lifestyle co-ordinators regularly contact us to provide a short term hire of an accessible van or minibus so that their program can still continue
- • Family members of residents book an accessible van on a regular basis to take their mother, sister or father out for a few hours – shopping or just a coffee. It brings a sense of connection and a reminder that simply time together means so much
Support for wellness
Are there occasions when your client needs extensive treatment – maybe in another state? Support co-ordinators and practitioners regularly contact us for accessible transport to ongoing treatment.
Examples include:
- • A Canberra client who is a wheelneeds treatment twice a year in Sydney. She is collected from home and travels to Sydney , staying a few days for treatment Often she brings her cat- who also visits the vet while here.
- • A support co-ordinator in Adelaide has a client who needs treatment only available in Sydney. She arranges for the client to be picked up , and returned to Sydney airport. Add transfers to the treatment centre and the client can enjoy a stress free stay in Sydney

Our Story
Since 2009, Australia In Style has proudly supported iconic venues, performance spaces, and special events across Sydney for both government and private sectors. Whilst venues and events are becoming more inclusive, many people with mobility challenges still face barriers simply getting there. Drawing on our background in transport and events, we collaborate with venues and events to change this.
Our founder, Vivien , was on the board of the International Special Events Society (Sydney Chapter ) for 10 years so is familiar with the unique needs of this industry and ensures we are compliant with government requirements.
Support of Accessible Arts & Culture
We are passionate about making Sydney’s world-renowned arts scene accessible to everyone.
In collaboration with theatre and event organisers, our accessible shuttle buses connect patrons with mobility challenges to major performances and cultural events.
Recent examples include:
• An iconic Sydney performance space was keen to enhance the onsite experience of all its stakeholders – including patrons. In addition to accessiblity upgrades to the venue, it offers an accessible shuttle bus service pre and post performances from a central transport hub to its venue.
Thousands have already benefitted from this simple yet powerful service. It opens the door to inclusion and shared cultural experiences.
• A cultural venue hosting a three-day festival recognized the challenges posed by limited parking and distance from public transport. By providing an accessible van to shuttle visitors from the nearest station to the venue, the event saw increased patronage and reduced parking demand.
Enhancing Celebrations & Special Events
From New Year’s Eve to local community festivals, our accessible minibuses ensure everyone can join the celebration.
Government departments, event organisers, and private hosts alike trust Australia In Style to deliver seamless, dignified, and inclusive transport experiences.
• Every New Year’s Eve, state and local governments host spectacular celebrations for the public. To ensure everyone can enjoy these iconic events, we proudly partner with them to provide a fleet of accessible minibuses — transporting people with disabilities right to the heart of the action.
The joy and excitement of our passengers as they experience the fireworks up close is truly inspiring — a reminder of how inclusion transforms moments into memories.
• In collaboration with organisations we have supported a number of conferences by facilitating access to the onsite talks and events.
For a 3 day conference, attendees stayed in various location nearby the conference centre. A number of the attendees were in wheelchairs. With our experienced logistical support the organisation was able to ensure everyone could attend their selected events.
