How to Get Started?

Four steps from first contact to confirmed booking. We’ll guide you through every one.

1

Tell us about your journey

Use the Enquire Now form or call us on 02 9310 0200. Let us know your date, group size, pickup location, destination, and any mobility requirements. The more detail, the better we can match the right vehicle.

2

We confirm availability and send a quote

We’ll confirm which vehicle suits your group and send a tailored quote. All prices are guaranteed once your deposit is received — no surprises.

3

Secure your booking with a 50% deposit

A 50% deposit confirms your booking. Payment can be made through Direct deposit and online payments via Stripe (including credit card payments). The remaining balance is due before travel.

4

We take care of the rest

Your driver will be there on time — at your door, your venue, or inside the arrivals terminal at Sydney Airport. All trips are private and exclusive to your group.

Accessibility

Accessibility is at the heart of everything we do — from the vehicles we choose to the way our drivers are trained. Whether you’re planning a one-off trip or a regular service, here’s what we have in place to make your journey comfortable, dignified, and stress-free.

Electronic Wheelchair Lift

Every vehicle in our fleet — from 5-seat vehicles to 53-seat coaches — is equipped with an electronic wheelchair lift. Designed for easy, consistent access every time.

Max Wheelchair Weight

Our lifts are rated to 363 kg, comfortably accommodating both manual and motorised wheelchairs. The lift platform measures 82 cm (32 in) wide × 137 cm (54 in) deep, with a 165 cm (65 in) clearance. Please advise wheelchair type at the time of booking.

Accessible Toilet Key

We carry the national master key for accessible public toilets, giving access to facilities across Sydney and surrounding areas. Toilet stops are planned into all tours and charters as a matter of course.

Portable Access Ramp

A portable ramp is available to assist with step access at key points. Kindly advise at booking and we will ensure it is ready for you.

Door Entry

All vehicles feature steps with grab rails at the door to assist ambulant passengers who need a little extra support getting in and out. Our drivers are always on hand to assist.

Folding Wheelchair Available

A folding wheelchair is available at no charge. Guests who can transfer to a seat may have their wheelchair folded and safely stored during the experience; ideal for guests who require occasional mobility support. Kindly request this at booking.

Airport Arrivals

Your driver will meet you inside the arrivals terminal at Sydney Airport, holding a sign with your name. We have priority parking close to the exit, so the transfer from arrivals to vehicle is quick and straightforward.

Beach Access

Selected Sydney beaches offer beach matting and wheelchairs for easier sand access. Availability varies — we’ll confirm options and arrange any required pre-booking.

We Travel with Everyone

Whether you’re an individual, a mixed group, a care provider, or an event organiser — our fleet and team are built around your needs.

Wheelchair Users

Electronic lifts in every vehicle. Space for one fully seated wheelchair user per vehicle, with additional capacity for folded chairs onboard.

Mixed Groups

Wheelchair users and ambulant passengers together — our vehicles seat 5 to 53, so everyone travels in the same vehicle.

NDIS Participants

We are NDIS registered and work with plan managers and support coordinators to arrange compliant, reliable transport.

Venues & Organisers

We run regular accessible shuttle services for events, performances, and festivals. Happy to collaborate with your existing coach providers.

Aged Care Providers

Compliant, experienced, and reliable. We proudly serve aged care organisations across Sydney.

Visitors to Sydney

Arriving from interstate or overseas? We can meet you inside the arrivals terminal at Sydney Airport and take care of your journey from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not sure where to start? These are the questions we hear most from people planning accessible experiences for the first time.

Can an assistance or guide dog travel with me?

Absolutely — assistance and guide dogs are always welcome on board!

Can a carer or support worker travel with me at no extra charge?

Yes, one carer or support worker is welcome to travel with you at no extra charge. We understand that many of our passengers rely on personal support to travel comfortably and safely. Simply let us know at the time of booking that a carer or support worker will be accompanying you.

When is the best time for travelling to Sydney?

Sydney is a great destination to visit any time of the year! The peak travel period is October to April, when the weather is warm and sunny, so you may need to book well in advance. However, Sydney’s consistently pleasant weather makes it enjoyable to explore outdoor attractions, beaches, and scenic spots at any time of year! The harbour, coastal walks, and outdoor dining spots are always vibrant.

Do you offer a pre-booking consultation?

We understand that every traveller has unique needs, and we’re happy to discuss your requirements before you commit to a booking. Simply get in touch with us by phone on (02) 9310 0200 or email us at info@ausinstyle.com.au and one of our team members will guide you through the best options for your needs. Free 1 hour consultation, thereafter a fee may apply.

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

Australia in Style wheelchair transport is excellent. It takes all the stress of going out away. You get picked up and dropped when you want. The stress of “am I going to get a taxi” is gone. Highly recommended!

Mick O’ Dowd

"As a US war veteran and wheelchair user, visiting the Sydney Opera House was a dream come true. The accessible ‘Opera House Secrets Tour’ was fascinating — and then something magical happened. I met Marie Claire, a veteran opera coach and friend of the late Joan Sutherland. She shared stories, took me behind the scenes to exclusive areas, and even helped me see a live opera under the stars on the Opera House steps. Truly unforgettable!"

S. Longmire

"Everything was perfect / 5/5 ! We enjoyed a wonderful 2+ days in Sydney filled with visits to all the main sites: Opera House, Toronga Zoo, Blue Mountains and so much more. Vivien and Terrence met us at the airport to give us a personal welcome. Tony was an amazing tour guide every day with an entertaining wealth of knowledge and special care for our wheelchair bound family member. The whole experience was amazing."
