Timeline
This timeline outlines some of our key achievements at Australia in Style.
Employee Wellbeing
We know that our people are our most valuable asset. That's why we're dedicated to creating a work environment that genuinely values health, happiness, and well-being.
- Flexible working: We work predominantly from home with flexible start/finish times.
- Training: We provide our team with environmental, social and financial literacy training.
- Employee Satisfaction surveys: To ensure our team feels valued and supported, we conduct annual employee satisfaction surveys. This feedback helps us continually improve and tailor our approach to employee well-being.
- Policy improvements: We're always evolving our policies to meet the needs of our team. Recent updates include paid days off for volunteering in the local community and ensuring our workplace is welcoming and supportive for everyone.
Charity Partners
At Australia in Style, supporting our community is a big part of what we do. We provide at-cost services to the Starlight Foundation and Make-A-Wish, helping children with serious illness enjoy memorable and accessible experiences.
We also offer pro-bono support to organisations including Cocky Guides, Taronga Zoo and Captain Cook Cruises, working with them to create accessible activities such as the "Sydney Harbour Jewels" package for people who are blind or have low vision.
Our team also gives back in other ways. Everyone receives two paid community days each year, and Vivien (our founder) contributes her time to the National Trust Tours Committee and Randwick Council's Access and Older Persons Advisory Committee.
These partnerships and contributions reflect a mix of financial support, in-kind help and hands-on involvement – all aimed at making inclusive experiences available to more people in our community.
Carbon Footprint
We recently measured our scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions for the reporting year 2025.
We have offset the carbon that we produce via Greenfleet.
Going forward, we will continue to measure our scope 1 and 2 emissions annually. We will also start measuring our scope 3 emissions and are currently looking into options for this. We recognise that this will be the biggest contributor to our overall carbon footprint and also provide the biggest opportunity where carbon reductions can take place.
Stakeholder Engagement
At Australia in Style, listening to our community is an essential part of how we shape our sustainability strategy. In 2025, we made a focused effort to engage with the people connected to our business – customers, employees, suppliers and community members – to understand what matters most to them as we continue to grow.
Our Approach
We developed a stakeholder survey and shared it via email across our different audiences. Respondents were asked to rate the importance of five sustainability themes:
- Environmental impact reduction
- Sustainable and responsible sourcing
- Community engagement and charity efforts
- Employee benefits, health and wellbeing
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Survey Results
The stakeholder survey gave us clear insight into what matters most to the people connected with Australia in Style.
The top priority identified was employee benefits, health and wellbeing, highlighting how strongly our stakeholders value fair working conditions and a supportive workplace. This was followed closely by community engagement and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, showing strong expectations for us to continue contributing to our community and maintaining inclusive, accessible practices.
Environmental topics also rated positively. Although slightly lower than the people-focused themes, respondents still viewed environmental impact reduction and sustainable, responsible sourcing as important, signalling that stakeholders expect us to continue operating responsibly and reducing our footprint where possible.
When asked about Australia in Style becoming a Certified B Corporation, most respondents rated this as highly important, with the majority selecting "Very important." This reflects strong support for introducing more formal accountability and verified performance standards into our sustainability work.
The open-comments section reinforced these findings. Many respondents praised Australia in Style for embedding sustainability from the start and expressed enthusiasm for seeing ongoing progress. Others highlighted the importance of continuing to lead by example in accessible, ethical and community-focused service delivery.
Strategy
Based on the results of our stakeholder engagement, we will continue to place employee wellbeing, community engagement, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and environmental responsibility at the centre of our sustainability strategy.
We will build closer relationships with our suppliers and increase the information we gather to ensure responsible and transparent sourcing.
Over the next few years, we will expand our carbon reporting to include Scope 3 emissions, giving us a full picture of our environmental footprint.
We will continue to uphold our strong customer satisfaction rating of 4.8–4.9 on Google Reviews through high-quality, reliable and inclusive service.
We will begin monitoring the number of accessible trips delivered each month, using this data to improve service quality and increase access to high-quality, inclusive, wheelchair-accessible transport for the community.
We are proud of our progress and recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey. In 2026, we achieved B Corp certification — a milestone that reflects our commitment to operating responsibly and continuously improving our impact on our people, community and environment.
