Are Rolls-Royce wedding cars really the best?

Category:Celebrations, Romantic Getaways Sydney, Weddings, event organisors | Comments: none

Are Rolls-Royce wedding cars really the best ? Why do we associate Rolls-Royce with ‘Excellence’ ?

Based on a number of facts, the reputation for excellence enjoyed by Rolls-Royce is well founded.

Fact 1: 6 out of 10 Rolls-Royces ever built are still on the road. No other car marque can make this claim

Fact 2: The famous ‘ silver lady ‘ which adorns the bonnet of the radiators of Rolls-Royce cars since 1911 and is sometimes know as the ‘ Spirit of Ecstasy’ is totally made by hand

Fact 3: The Rolls-Royce radiator grill is made entirely by hand and eye and no measuring instruments are used. It take one man a day to make the radiator and 5 hours to polish it.

You can enjoy the quality that is Rolls-Royce. Check out classic Rolls-Royces available for weddings at www.weddinghirecars.com.au

Top Romantic Wedding Proposal Ideas

Birthday Proposal
Propose to your partner on your birthday. Pretend to be sick of opening presents and tell your partner to open one. Just make sure the one she opens is the box with the ring in it. Then pop the question

Project your Love
Use a projector to shine your proposal onto a wall,  house or other landmark that she passes on her daily route home. Note you may need to get permission from a council depending on where you plan to to do this.

Message in a Bottle
Take a romantic stroll on a beach. Organise for someone to drop a bottle on the shore when your partner isn’t looking. Get her to open it up where she’ll find a message (your proposal) and a ring.

Magic Trick
Learn some magic tricks and put on a small show for her. Your grand finale will be to pull an engagement ring out of your hat.

And for a real impression , how about…..

If your true love turned up at the door in a chauffeured limo ,whisked you away to your private yacht, sailed you around Sydney harbour with champagne in hand, transported you to a fine dining restaurant, and then popped the BIG Question, you would have to say ‘ YES” !

Romancing a Woman

Romance is, of course, a two-way street. . Romance for men may be optional, but romance for women is , for many,a requirement. If you leave the romance out of a relationship, the relationship is doomed from the start.

Romancing your lady, though, is really easy, and men, you have a lot of help from experienced retailers — particularly those who sell greeting cards, candy, flowers, and jewelry. But be warned: just gifts are NOT romantic!

The words on the card that accompanies a gift can be romantic. The setting in which a gift is presented can be romantic. The words spoken when a gift is given can be romantic. But just the gifts themselves are not romantic. And the price of the gift is certainly NOT romantic.

An inexpensive pair of earrings can be the most romantic thing in the world if the man whispers, “I saw these and they were so beautiful they made me think of you.” Oh, yeah — that’s romantic, and price doesn’t matter.

Romancing a woman is really, really easy. All it takes is a tiny bit of thought and then some action to back up the thought. Send her one rose and a note that says, “One perfect rose for one perfect woman.” Send her a box of candy that says, “Sweet…but you are much sweeter!”

All of these things are things that women see as romantic, but the single most important and effective way a man can romance a woman is to actually see HER and hear HER and care about her comfort and well-being. That might sound a bit trite or even old-fashioned, but it is true!

  • Hey man I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to write something worth reading . I am all over the internet and I see so much pointless content that is just written for the sake of putting something fresh on their page. It takes devotion to create good stuff, thanks for sharing.

Best Wedding readings and music

Category:Celebrations, Weddings, event organisors | Comments: none

One of the most uplifting aspects of a wedding is the choice of readings and music selected by the bride and groom.

Here are readings from recent weddings which seemed to touch those attending.

The sentiment expressed reminds us all why we choose to continue to love weddings !

Leap into the void    By Yves Klein 1957

Come with me into the void

If you return one day

You who, like me dream,

Of that wonderful void

That absolute love

I know that together

Without needing to say a single word to each other

We will leap

Into the reality of that void

That awaits our love

The way I wait for you every day

Come with me into the void

Anonymous

I love you not only for what you are,
But for what I am when I am with you
I love you not only for what you have made of yourself
But for what you are making me
I love you for the part of me that you bring out.
I love you for passing over all my foolish and weak traits,
That you can’t help but see
I love you for drawing out into the light my beauty,
That no one else had looked quite far enough to see

Have you heard any beautiful readings lately ? We would love to hear from you

Wedding cars for the new Royals

Category:Celebrations, Romantic Getaways Sydney, Weddings, event organisors | Comments: none

Diana’s Coach for William & Kate

They are the new age royals but they’re keeping with tradition when it comes to wedding transport.

Diana's Coach for William & KateGetty Images

Another nod to royal history, following in the footsteps of Charles and Diana, William and Kate will travel to their official reception at Buckingham Palace in an open air horse drawn carriage giving royal watchers and well-wishers (not to mention millions of viewers at home) the chance to see the newlyweds celebrate their first moments together as husband and wife.

The 1902 State Landau was designed and built for King Edward VII to be used for his coronation and was the vehicle of choice for Charles and Diana’s 1981 wedding.

Kate will travel to Westminster Abbey in a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI, the same vehicle that was attacked in December 2010 while Prince Charles and Camilla were inside.

The Royal Family will ride in five coaches to Buckingham Palace from the wedding ceremony; two Ascot Landau carriages will carry William’s best man Prince Harry and Kate’s maid of honour Pippa Middleton along with their four bridesmaids and two page boys.

Following this will be two semi-state Landaus, one with the Queen and Prince Phillip and the other Charles, Camilla and Kate’s parents Carole and Mike Middleton.

What mode of transport will you be using on your wedding day? What do you think of William and Kate’s transportation choices?
