Choosing your wedding car-5 point checklist

Category:Celebrations, Romantic Getaways Sydney, Weddings, event organisors | Comments: none

5 POINT WEDDING CAR CHECKLIST

1.

1.  Decide what style of car is best for your wedding

Your cars should complement the style you have chosen

If your wedding style is elegant and classic – check out classic bridal cars

If your wedding style is minimalist check out modern bridal cars

If your dream is a princess wedding check out the Royal Collection

IDEA: Also think about incorporating colour in your style to suit your wedding colours

2.

2.  Consider whom you want to provide transport for?

Most couples provide cars for the bride and bridesmaids.

80% provide cars for the groomsmen after the ceremony. 75% provide cars for the groom to arrive

5% provide cars for the parents after the ceremony

For helpful options see wedding car packages

3.

3. Consider your guests

Your guests will enjoy your wedding more if they do not have to worry about driving far, or to places they may not know. This is especially of concern for people from out of town

Consider offering guest transport. Coaches can transport guests from the ceremony to reception and return, or you may prefer to have a central point where guests leave their cars before the ceremony

Include the offer of guest transport on your RSVP.Then you can select the right size coach for you.

4. Ask  your photographer for ideas to incorporating your wedding cars in photos

This can best done prior to your wedding when you are discussing your style of photography

5. Details on the day

Check your wedding cars come with : large umbrellas, a bridal repair kit , water and sparkling wine, preferably snacks as well – or bring your own. There is so much happening prior to your wedding on the day that you may simply forget to eat!

FINALLY: Review and confirm details of your wedding cars a week before your wedding

Ask for contact number of your driver for the day

Following this checklist will help you arrive at your wedding , relaxed and ready to enjoy your wedding day

Personalising your wedding

Category:Celebrations, Weddings, event organisors, memorable events | Comments: none

Personalisation is the latest
trend in weddings

Here are some unique wedding
ideas, to make your wedding truly your own.

They will set your wedding
apart from others and ensure your guests will have unique memories of your
wedding.

Personalised Centrepiece Vases

Take small glasses and have
them engraved with your initials.

Then simply add colourful
flowers, some glass pearls and you have a gorgeous personalised wedding centrepiece

At the end of your wedding
offer them as a special gift to your helpers on the day, or have a draw at each
table so that a guest at the table takes one home as a memento.

Special gesture for the mothers of the bride and groom

Ask your floral designer to
design two detachable floral sprays into your wedding bouquet. As you are walking
down the aisle, just before you reach the end, remove one of the sprays. Give
this to the person giving you away, give a kiss and as  he takes his seat he present the spray to your
mother.

Then at the conclusion of the
ceremony, as you begin to make your way back up the aisle as husband and wife,
stop at the pew where your mother-in-law is seated. Remove the second special
flower from your bouquet and present it to her, along with a kiss, before
continuing up the aisle.

Of course you let the person giving you away know , but don’t
tell the mothers !

It’s a warm and personal way to start your wedding
celebration For more stylish ideas to support your wedding , check out

Are Rolls-Royce wedding cars really the best?

Category:Celebrations, Romantic Getaways Sydney, Weddings, event organisors | Comments: none

Are Rolls-Royce wedding cars really the best ? Why do we associate Rolls-Royce with ‘Excellence’ ?

Based on a number of facts, the reputation for excellence enjoyed by Rolls-Royce is well founded.

Fact 1: 6 out of 10 Rolls-Royces ever built are still on the road. No other car marque can make this claim

Fact 2: The famous ‘ silver lady ‘ which adorns the bonnet of the radiators of Rolls-Royce cars since 1911 and is sometimes know as the ‘ Spirit of Ecstasy’ is totally made by hand

Fact 3: The Rolls-Royce radiator grill is made entirely by hand and eye and no measuring instruments are used. It take one man a day to make the radiator and 5 hours to polish it.

You can enjoy the quality that is Rolls-Royce. Check out classic Rolls-Royces available for weddings at www.weddinghirecars.com.au

Top Romantic Wedding Proposal Ideas

Birthday Proposal
Propose to your partner on your birthday. Pretend to be sick of opening presents and tell your partner to open one. Just make sure the one she opens is the box with the ring in it. Then pop the question

Project your Love
Use a projector to shine your proposal onto a wall,  house or other landmark that she passes on her daily route home. Note you may need to get permission from a council depending on where you plan to to do this.

Message in a Bottle
Take a romantic stroll on a beach. Organise for someone to drop a bottle on the shore when your partner isn’t looking. Get her to open it up where she’ll find a message (your proposal) and a ring.

Magic Trick
Learn some magic tricks and put on a small show for her. Your grand finale will be to pull an engagement ring out of your hat.

And for a real impression , how about…..

If your true love turned up at the door in a chauffeured limo ,whisked you away to your private yacht, sailed you around Sydney harbour with champagne in hand, transported you to a fine dining restaurant, and then popped the BIG Question, you would have to say ‘ YES” !

Are you looking for earth-friendly wedding ceremony ideas ?

A wedding can be a wonderful celebration and still leave a small carbon footprint.

Here are some ideas for a memorable day:

  • Invitations
  • Use Recycled paper
  • Email a video invitation
  • RSVP to email address

  • Flowers
  • Choose Locally Grown Flowers – this also saves energy used to deliver flowers from afar.
  • Recycle flowers  – Invite guests to take flowers home with them. Leave wrapping paper on each table

  • Decorations
  • Recycle Decorations- from other  weddings  Reuse the decorations from ceremony to reception.
  • Include personal items such as framed photos as centre pieces
  • Use Soy Candles – made from renewable resources and burn cleaner and longer

  • Wedding cars
  • Check out wedding car companies that offer carbon neutral transport  -  we do !!! Check out: www.weddinghirecars.com.au
  • Book  a bus to transport guests rather than have them all drive their own cars -  we do !! Check out www.weddinghirecars.com.au

  • Wedding gifts
  • Invite guests to donate to your favourite charity instead of giving things you don’t need

Implementing these measures in no way,  takes away from enjoying a lifelong memory to cherish- the real reason for a wedding !
